The IMS RU 1, featuring a central drum and a center-surface winding system on two independent rewind shafts, ensures high operational flexibility and precise process control.
The machine is designed to cover the full range of converting applications, handling materials such as aluminum foil (lacquered or printed), plastic films (laminated and non-laminated), and thin papers.
The minimized distance between the slitting and rewinding sections, combined with a state-of-the-art control system, enables accurate web tension management throughout the process, ensuring web stability and consistent finished roll quality.
An IMS RU 1 M version is also available, specifically optimized for low-basis-weight papers and narrow slitting widths, featuring a single rewind shaft configuration for dedicated applications.
