LAEM RB SERIES
The LAEM RB SERIES are multi-purpose slitter rewinders for the flexible packaging industry.
Thanks to their wide range of accessories and high configuration versatility, the LAEM RB 2 slitter rewinders are designed to meet the production requirements of the converting industry. The centre-driven winding technology, featuring advanced differential shafts, enables the production of very narrow reels (down to 40 mm) with consistent tension and hardness across the web width. The dual slitting system—razor blades and circular knives—allows processing of nearly all web materials, with thicknesses ranging from 10 to 150 microns in the standard configuration, and web widths up to 1800 mm.
The LAEM RB 4 centre-driven slitter rewinder is designed for film manufacturers and converters who need to produce multiple finished reels with relatively small diameters. The LAEM RB 4 significantly reduces cycle downtime compared to dual-shaft machines by minimizing changeover time and establishing a steady production rhythm for operators. The standard configuration includes one motor for each rewinding shaft to ensure independent control of the upper and lower shafts.
